About This Site

Morris County Busted Mugshots is a private reference site for locating official paths to booking, custody, and court information. Morris County does not publish a verified public roster or booking-photo interface, so knowing which custodian holds a particular record matters. We organize the documented county, city, court, and state pathways without hosting booking-photo galleries.

Our Records Focus

Texas public-information law makes a route to many existing government records available, but it does not turn every custody record into an online search result. In Morris County, the sheriff and jail maintain the local custody side of a booking, municipal departments can hold their own incident reports, and court clerks hold the later case record. The Texas Department of Criminal Justice maintains a different state-custody search for people who have progressed beyond a county booking. We bring those distinctions together so a police event, jail intake, and court disposition are not mistaken for the same record.

Our role is informational. We identify official sources, explain what a source can and cannot show, and describe the written-request path when an online result is not verified. We do not collect or display a gallery of booking photographs, arrest names, or charge lists.

Information Available Here

The site is organized around the local systems documented for Morris County rather than assumed countywide tools.

  • The county records overview explains the local booking, custody, court, and written-request sequence when no official live roster is available.
  • City pages distinguish a municipal police report from a Morris County Jail booking record and identify the public-information route available for each city.
  • Crime News separates historical or event-based reporting from the official records that confirm custody and case status.
  • Most Wanted Fugitives describes the documented, lawful county warrant-check and tip pathways without presenting a public county wanted list that was not verified.

What We Cannot Do

This service is privately operated. It is not connected with a Texas government office, a sheriff, a jail, a corrections department, or a court. The site is not a substitute for an official custodian, a clerk, or a licensed attorney.

  • We cannot hold, release, transfer, or otherwise manage a person in custody.
  • We cannot post a bond, arrange a visit, or send money for a visitor.
  • We cannot provide legal advice or determine what a court will do.
  • We cannot promise that a phone number, fee, address, or agency practice remains current.

Official verification matters. Only the government custodian that maintains a record can confirm current custody, release status, charges, or whether a particular record is available.

Search Partners

Some pages include search tools operated by outside providers. Those providers set their own results, terms, and pricing. If a search tool leads to a paid enrollment, Morris County Busted Mugshots may receive a referral fee that helps support the free reference content. We do not control a partner’s results, pricing, or handling of information submitted to that partner.
