Morris County Busted Mugshots is not a government office. We cannot confirm custody, authorize a release, post a bond, or retrieve an official booking record. For any of those matters, contact the government agency or court that maintains the record directly.
Official Records Contacts
The sheriff and jail are the documented local starting point for county custody, a booking number, and a written request for an existing booking record or photograph. The sheriff page publishes no separate records-unit line, records hours, or booking-photo fee. Use the direct sheriff number below and ask that a written Texas Public Information Act request be routed to the appropriate public-information or records custodian.

Courthouse hours are Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.; most offices close from noon to 1 p.m.
The County Clerk’s published office schedule is 8 a.m. to noon and 1 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. on weekdays. The county directory lists a conflicting sheriff number, 903-645-2322. The direct sheriff page identifies 903-645-2232 for the sheriff and jail, so use that number first and confirm the proper routing before relying on either listing.
For a written request, provide the full name, approximate arrest or booking date, arresting agency, booking number if known, and the requested medium, such as inspection, a copy, a booking record, or an existing photograph. The Texas Attorney General’s Public Information Act overview explains the written-request process under Texas Government Code Chapter 552. Ask for an itemized estimate if charges may apply. No verified Morris County booking-photo fee is published.
Route the Question to the Custodian
- For current Morris County custody, a booking number, or an existing county booking record, start with the sheriff and jail at 903-645-2232.
- For a municipal police incident or arrest report, use the city police department or city public-information process. Daingerfield’s official public-information page provides its written request route.
- For a later county misdemeanor or felony case, use the appropriate clerk and the county’s public-access court portal.
- For a person later received into Texas state custody, use the official TDCJ offender search, which is not a current county-jail roster.
- For federal incarceration, use the Federal Bureau of Prisons inmate locator; a federal result is separate from Morris County jail custody.
- For immigration detention, use the official ICE Online Detainee Locator. It is not a Morris County booking search.
